Family background / make up:
Everyone says it; lots of support in all I did. What they could give me, no matter the circumstances, they did.
How do you chill?
By spending time with my wife, Erin. Ironically, training with the 3rd Team.
What are your aspirations for the Bay?
To win the Super League A. Regardless of that, to ensure the younger players to stay at the club until they eventually play Crocks.
What is it about the Bay that inspires you?
It’s a family club and to see kids run around, support the teams and watch their heroes play is surreal. There is ALWAYS someone to greet you. On the field I know of few players who don’t give everything, even those playing ‘socially’. The Bay’s well recognised BIG HITS. No other club has them...
Who at False Bay inspires you?
All the players daring to be better, Mike Kros and Bossie. Adam Van Willingh (Bay Man).
What do you do to relax or what are your interests outside of rugby?
Weekends away. Braai as much as possible and spend time with my friends as often as I can.
