Being chosen to represent WP and beating Maties 25-15 in front of 20,000 spectators at Newlands when they had all their Springbok and Provincial stars playing for them

Rugby Highlight in my role:

Experiencing the transformation of False Bay over the last 5 years from being an ordinary club participating in the league to being a powerhouse to be reckoned with in WP and nationally

When I was still playing it has to be Basil Bey and over the last 5 years at False Bay no other than VD

Carefree tropical island holidays and spending as much time with my granddaughter where possible

What are your aspirations for the Bay?

Winning the SL A and spreading the False Bay gees when competing in the Gold Cup later this year

What is it about the Bay that inspires you?

The selfless time and energy by everyone who gives back to the club in some way or another, especially the dedicated and hardworking Committee.

Who at False Bay inspires you?

For me there are 2 really hugely inspirational leaders namely our President Louis de Waal and our Chairman Gareth Jones. One cannot be mentioned without the other. Both are humble in their achievements as leaders at the Bay and are unconditionally passionate about False Bay as a club,

What do you do to relax/ other interests outside of rugby:

Spending quality time with my family
